Rome wasn’t built In a Day!
ONE FULL DAY TO SEE ALL THE BIGGIES!
Description
We've been there ... You've got a million things you NEED to see, and a million things you NEED to do. - And while a Roman Vacation is always a nice escape from normal life, it can be a real challenge to get everything in. (and still have time for plenty of wine ...)
So ... Take a full day, and examine Rome's biggest sights and destinations ... with surprisingly pleasant and fun efficiency.
This 7.5 hour tour lets you see the top sights in Rome. - Including the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, The Colosseum, and The Historic Center -Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc ...
You’ll skip the lines the entire day (that’s a big part of the ‘efficiency’ thing), and you get to see all those sites (and more)... even if you’ve only got a smidgen of time to spend with us here in the Eternal City.
With guides that are routinely described as “knowledgeable,” “humorous,” “insightful” and yes, even “gregarious” … This full day tour stays fun and keeps everyone one board the whole time.
Explore, excite, examine, and exalt … You can do everything you want to do. And you can make sure the kids get to see all those delightfully historic sites too. - In one little day. Whew…

The Colosseum and The Vatican Museums are vast with some steps and stairways.
Ancient Rome is an actual archaeological site with some steps, stairways, and uneven surfaces.
If you are concerned about the intensity, contact us for more information, or choose the private option where you can go at your own pace.
Starting June 1, ALL participants are required to bring a valid form of id (passport, driver’s license, government id) in order to enter the Colosseum. Photocopies are acceptable.
We suggest sunscreen and a water bottle.
Students that book tours for a student price MUST bring their student ID. It is required at the start of the tour.
Leave the sharp objects behind… The Vatican Museum require all knives, scissors and/or metal tools of various types to be stored in the cloakroom.
You are allowed to enter the Vatican Museums with a bag no larger than 15.7 inches x 13.7 inches x 6 inches (40cm x 35cm x 15cm). Larger bags must be checked in. You must also check backpacks, tripods and other oversized items. Please do not bring large bags on your tours. Spending time at the coat check will disrupt the tour for the rest of the group. If you check bags, you will also have to return to the coat check after your tour, which finishes at St. Peter’s Basilica (a 15-minute walk from the museum entrance).
You are allowed to bring drinks inside the Colosseum, as long as they are not in glass or can. Small snacks in packages such as chocolate bars or energy bars are allowed.
